Hi all, I ordered the wrong rear window seal for my 67 valiant 2 door sedan. Can someone point me in the right direction for the correct seal. Im not putting the chrome trim around the window, with that said can I use the later 68-on seal?
ordered a few more pieces today. Window channel felts (front windows) and some odds and ends. Got the rear glass in the car and all the emblems on. Installed the electronic truck release and truck lock today too.
no I meant the rear window channel gaskets. that hold the glass. I was able to reuse the originals. they are not in the best shape but usable. I have all new gaskets for everything else.
Body work is nearing completion. Sadly with personal events I was unable to complete it for today. I did however still give the car to my wife in its current state which she was completely surprised. Now I can take my time putting the drive line and interior in it.
im getting ready to put the car back together since paint. Who has found a source for the rear window (roll up and down) seals/gaskets. I found front window channel but the rear is entirely different and I cant seem to track anything down.
That's funny! The glass is removed! just wasn't in those pictures.
That's all for now. Will be hanging metal and checking gaps this weekend. IF that goes well, pull it back apart, jam it, hang metal again, then get ready for paint!
I am looking for a gas cap for my 67 valiant. Id like to paint it so it doesn't need to be pristine, but something not rusted and pitted.
I am also looking for the drip rail chrome strip. I need the driver side rail that runs from the a pillar to the c pillar. I do not need the elbow or the...
I got the last one that my supplier could find. It was tucked deep into some old ware house. Took almost 2 months to come up with it. MAYBE there is another one somewhere?
I believe there was a restoration company in Florida that had some I found when looking but they were pricey. Good luck!
so physically they all work, the only difference is it being year correct if im understanding right. The car its going on isn't even close to stock so I guess I don't care about a seem. I just want it to look nice.
Also, the pad I have is borrowed. I don't have anything so a cap wont work...
Does anyone know where to get the window felts that the window rides in. They are "u" shaped and snap into the window channel on post cars. the window rides in the "u"
Thank you!
Whats the difference in the 74 pad that I have on it and the 67?
I saw those caps and was interested but they don't have any decent pictures. Do you REMOVE the pad and bolt that one in place of the pad or do you lay that across the existing pad?
Im looking for a nice black dash pad for a 67 valiant. I believe anything from 67-76 should work as I have a 74 pad on it now.
Thank you

The car now has power windows and locks, the doors are stripped down and ready to go to paint. Next will be pulling the...
Im looking for drip rail chrome trim which goes above the driver door on a 67 2 door sedan. I only need the driver side, specifically the piece which runs from the a pillar back to the c pillar.
