My 75 318 Swinger had one of those........ I don't remember what they used it for, but it had something to do with emissions..... I probably still have it, along with all the other emissions parts I removed!!!!!

I'm with AJ on this........ I tore my valve body apart yesterday because my car had hardly any reverse when cold, and sure enough, one of my check balls (#4 to be exact) apparently didn't get put back in when I did my shift kit..... Pull the valve body, do an air check on the trans to check for...

A big thank you to everybody who responded!!!! AJ/Form S is the man!!!!! A little 1/4" check ball (a 25 cent part) came up missing when I took the valve body apart (thank you mderoy 340 for the Ace Hardware reference)...... Replaced it this morning, and the transmission works like brand new!!!!

AJ/Form S, you hit the nail on the head!!!!! I did another air check on the trans and everything sounded normal........ Pulled the valve body apart, and wouldn't you know it, #4 check ball is missing!!!! Now I just have to find another check ball............

I have a set of 205/70r15's on a set of Cordoba 15 x 6 chrome wheels....... They fit great with no rubbing at stock height..... I had a set of cop car wheels on my 73 Swinger years ago with 205/65r15's on them. Barely cleared the fenders because of the wheel offset.......

Both Classic Industries and Layson's Restorations have the limiter, not sure on the capacitor...... When I made mine, I used the voltage limiter body for mounting, so no wiring had to made, uses the factory plug in on the board.......

The factory voltage limiter and capacitor are pretty expensive to replace....... Unless you're doing a completely stock restoration, there is a way to make the same limiter and capacitor (solid state electronics that make a rock solid 5 volts) on the allpar website, and it's a LOT cheaper and...

I had that with my 73 Swinger when I swapped rear ends out....... Loosened the U bolts, moved it over a little bit, retightened the bolts....... FIXED!!!!!

If I were to do another set of headers, I would DEFINITELY not cheap out and buy a set of Flowtechs!!!!! I had those on my 73 Dart, and flattened the front pipes within a couple weeks...... Your car is looking great in the short amount of time you've had it...... Looks like your ignition module...

I swapped a stock Holley carb and intake from a 75 360 2bbl van for about $100...... Works perfectly now, much better than the garbage Carter I had on it before!!!!

Nice looking car!!! I've seen that one on craigslist for a while...... I bought my Dart in April of last year from a couple just south of Marysville off craigslist (traded straight across for my 74 Courier)...... Take your time, go slow, and things will turn out great!!!!

Good thing it was an automatic then...... A 3 speed and a small hill, and it might not be in the same place where you parked it!!!!

I did the 360 2bbl swap on my 318(out of a 77 B200 van, Holley 2 bbl), and I love it!!! So much smoother to drive, throttle response is right now, and gas mileage didn't change at all (not that I care about gas mileage)....... Of course, maybe the BBD I had on the 318 was a piece of crap......

My car had the seat belt interlock module in it, so it would be wired differently than a 1972 would be....... I think the factory manual might have that wiring diagram in it..... Besides, I completely rewired the dash ( removed the fasten seat belt\ interlock wiring)..... Wished I could help.....

Mine had the separate IVR, so building the replacement was easy......Got the directions from allpar.com, works like it should...... Guess I'm gonna find a gas gauge.......
