    67/68/69 cuda dilemma

Starting fab on the inner trunk lip section. Theres more perforation on the outer skin lip once we opened it up. I think I am going to naval jelly this area and see how bad it is. May be worthy of just tack welding the holes up and applying a generous amount of epoxy primer over the clean pitted...

Water in oil after rebuild - looking for guidance

I'm pretty disappointed, I'd like to know if it was something I did or it was like that when I assembled the engine after machining. I opted out of the magnaflux at the machine shop. This engine had 5000 miles on it before showing any signs of an internal coolant leak.

68 Barracuda Formula S 340 missing trim tag and Vin / dash

Well you're completely wrong . Show me where in any brochure that is stated. As a matter of fact post here where you researched and it makes that claim. The dual exhaust cutouts were specific to all Formula S ( 68 &69) and all '69 cuda package cars. By all means fix up your car and drive it.

68 Barracuda Formula S 340 missing trim tag and Vin / dash

The rear valances with cutouts were an option even on the formula s cars from what I’ve researched. The rear quarters on this car need replaced as does the rear valance. Not a big deal to me. The car will never be a numbers matching car as the whole drive train is gone already. But still a cool...

Yesterday and old wrecking yard that had been closed for about 10 years opened the doors. It was 10 bucks to get in so you could walk around and pick parts. It will be open again this Thursday. After this the crusher will come in and clear the land. My friend said most of the cars were pretty...

[FOR SALE] Slant 6 spool type k member

The spools themselves are a bit smaller diameter and location is slightly different. I was going to use schumacher conversion mounts but at the time there were none to be found. New OER turn signal switch problem

There are still NOS switches out there that have been stored away for years, you just have to shell out $350 / $400 for them. It's so nice when you swap one in and they work perfectly the first time.....

    valve lash cold

By the time you crank the balancer 8 times it will be cold. Hotter widens the spec (increases lash)believe it or not. Use the spec the cam company suggests.

Well, it was nice and sunny this morning but it did rain this afternoon and still raining. Took advantage of the rain stopping and put all the garbage and yard waste out. May go out to the Vets day ceremony tomorrow then after 12 go and take the poppies down at the Cemetery. Have a good one guys

Holy smokes! Never knew those existed. I wonder how that works. The flux creates slag that fills the threads, preventing the weld from sticking?
