    Milling an intake manifold.

Are you on Facebook and if so how many local friends do you have on there. I could probably post up that I need an intake cut and 20 friends would say bring it over. A case of beer and a few hours later I’m heading back home.

    Drag Week 2024 live feed..

Stock shaft doesn’t help me either. it does leave hard and I’m still working on the rear suspension. I had my converter gone through and they’re supposed to increase the stall from 3400 to 4200 and but it flashes at 5200 so I will need to send it back in.

    Slant 6 Racing @ Knoxville Dragway 9-20/21

Thanks, I am glad you appreciate it. I have had it 9 years. It's not fast but gets the job done. And it suits my style of actually using my odd/ old Mopars. I have put almost 30,000 miles on it mostly towing to races etc.

1967 Dodge Dart 273 question factory single exhaust/

It was, I wasn’t impressed but in its defense it was 50 years old. Sounds like a muscle car with the duals, no crossover.

1967 Dodge Dart 273 question factory single exhaust/

When I bought my 66 someone had replaced the HP exhaust with the 2 barrel pipes. Yes, it did sound like a pick up. LMAO 2" intermediate pipe and 1 7/8" tail pipe. THat's about Slant 6 size.

Squeeling V belt and CVF alternator

Belt is correct side out. Some manufacturers do that to make it easier to turn around smaller pulleys. I have had a few over the years. I have also had the belts as you describe with segments on the inside. My understanding is it helps let trapped air out so it does not squeeze out making a squeak.

1967 Dodge Dart 273 question factory single exhaust/

Was the factory exhaust the HiPo version with the Large 2.5 in headpipe, straight through muffler, larger 2.25 over-the-axle pipe and straight through resonator. Anything else won’t sound the same.

Source to locate correct distributor numbers per application?

If you are trying to be "restore" accurate, you have to be careful. It may be (not sure, just as EG) that some CA vehicles had different dist's than federally and also for different options. Some long about 70 / later had the electric retard on the vacuum advance.

Slant 6 engine ignition timing stays retarded.

I'm tuning the slant in my 1973 Dart. I did all the usual stuff---- plugged the distributor vacuum hose after disconnecting. Set idle at 750 rpm. Adjusted mixture to highest vacuum @ 18" with a rock steady needle. With the distributor rotated all the way counter-clockwise (confined by the...

Squeeling V belt and CVF alternator

I'm probably wrong but is the belt shown in the picture inside out....never seen one with the segmented section on the outside, those "toothy" bits usually go into the V of the pulley don't they?? I only ask this because your picture looks to show a symptom we are used to seeing here in...
