    66 Dodge Dart GT Restoration

I just saw this thread and moved it to the Early A Body forum. It would probably be easiest if you would cut and paste your post to the other thread. I don't have very good luck moving posts between threads without loosing them.

Not sure, I was just looking at the Day 4 results and he didn't turn in a time for yesterday. It sure seems like I saw him run yesterday, but I don't remember of he had issues or not.

how to tell if the distributor drive gear is installed correctly?

The facts are these, and we've joked about this. One member used to say, "the gear could point to China." You COULD do this: 1 Throw the gear in any old way 2 Throw the dist in either way 3 Pull no1 plug. Stick your finger in, bump the engine to find compression. When you JUST...

Are there any experienced beer drinkers here?

I agree. I've traveled and in Alaska its "Alaskan Amber" upstate NY near the Canadian border its "Molson Canadian" you just have to look around or ask the bartender what's what wherever you are.

Are there any experienced beer drinkers here?

What I've found is your taste buds "graduate" to better beer and you can never go back. I've drank craft brew for years and when I do regular beer" its usually Yuengling, Heineken, Coors original or Molson etc. Budweiser, I gave that up years ago...I can drink it in cans on ice at a BBQ...

    Milling an intake manifold.

I’ve surfaced lots of intake and exhaust manifolds on a mill. The exhaust stuff can be a PITA but an intake on a mill is pretty easy.

    Shop safety

I had similar luck years ago. My ragtop in a single car garage. Closed the garage door and heard bang, then a bunch of banging. Door spring broke. No safety cable through it. 2 pieces of spring on the floor. One under the car. I could not find a scratch or dent on the car.:wtf:

    Milling an intake manifold.

...his garage yet. Most of his tools are scattered and we went into this thinking we could do it on his horizontal mill since I assumed it would 90*. He has the tools to do it, just needs to get them together. Thus I was trying to help him out if anyone had some quick ideas for fixtures. If...
