The brick work along the edge of the sidewalk is done on this side of the driveway to the property line. This is the short side, only 26 feet. The other side is over 90 feet. Still, it took 500 bricks at 4 lbs each (2000 lbs) and a whole lot of labor to dig out the sod and level the base...

    63 904 trans dilemma

I would make sure the push button shift cable on the trans is adjusted so the valve in the trans is in the right position when the button is pushed. It may just need some maintenance (fresh fluid and a quart of Lucas oil, filter, lube cables, band adjust, etc).

Hey guys Im having a time with my 65 dart blinkers. When I turn the key on and hit the blinker right and blinker left they work fine except the driver side is very dim. Slant 6 engine ignition timing stays retarded.

That's a novel idea! It may come to that but I'm still trying different things. I had the die grinder out today.....I'll know tomorrow if my mod works.

    63 904 trans dilemma

A later transmission will have a larger diameter nose on the torque convertor and won't fit the crank pocket (register) on a '67 or older engine. And no, you can't mix torque convertors between early and late 904s- the input splines are different on the two transmissions. Early 904s have a ball...

    63 904 trans dilemma

I'm hopefully in the final stages of same dilemma and finding knowledgeable experienced folks to do the work is pert near the biggest challenge. Two cables for shift and park mechanisms plus availability of cables is another concern. I'm gathering parts to go to a 4 speed and be done with it...

Slant 6 engine ignition timing stays retarded.

That's certainly food for thought, albeit a somewhat unpalatable set of options. I don't see a damper(at least not my concept of a damper) on my slant. No place to put a timing tape. I have a group of pulleys. Is that the damper?

I am so looking forward to winter, and hot summer days being gone.

In the past, I have always preferred summer because everything I like to do is outside. Working on cars, bodywork, rust repair, painting, yard work, etc. I never had a problem with the heat. The last few summers, I have gotten more susceptible to the heat. For the first time in years, I am...

Putting up a shop in CA - fire department being a pain

Exactly, we've had numerous fires where I'm at and the response is unbelievably good. We had a recent small one and helicopters, engines and hand crews knocked it out quickly. Earlier in the year a car accident on the 2 lane State Highway required Air tankers/retardant, helicopters, engines and...

Anyone put fuel injection on a crossram manifold?

I would say yes, were these these manifolds that pooled fuel ? If so I would think the fuel distribution would be better.

    1966/'69 A100 Twins Build

Yes. It handles way better than I expected but in a windy place where I really need to take 75MPH roads I don’t like it. The guy that bought it has the other high end Turquoise one that went through Barrett Jackson a while ago and said this one handles way better than his current one.
