I have everything but time is what I dont have currently. 8 3/4 with 3.23 gears and the 200 4r is rebuilt and ready to go in. I made all the templates of what I believe I need to cut out to make it fit.

I doubt someone will be selling one ready to go. You'll have to build your own. You have to remember that the diesel guys are using a version of this trans (618) I believe. The OD unit bolts up to the A500 or A518. The guy I got my trans from had it rebuilt and they put the 618 od unit on it.

So what's the problem with adapters?

I used the mopar newer (90s) 5.2 starter (the small one), gives you clearance for the exhaust. I had to do a little extra trimming to get the starter nose to clear. It's all in my long post/thread when I built built and installed the 2004R. Treblig

The 2004R will survive well if it's built correctly. There are many option on HP parts to make it pretty tough!! A stock 2004R probably wouldn't last very long behind a high horse power car. treblig

I agree, it's a little odd. If you look on their site they sell a cross member and an upper hoop kit for the GM 2004r. Wonder why they didn't don't for this trans.

A nice cam, good dual exhaust, 4:10 gears and a 2004R overdrive trans. He'll have plenty of pep and cruise at 65MPH taching 2000RPM (depending on the size of his rear tires). Treblig

2004r overdrive and then you can leave the crossmember and sheet metal in place. Looks good finished though.
