Dodge Dart Seneca for sale NOT MINE

The slant six powered 1960 Dart 4drs curb weight was 3,630,the 60 Savoy was 3,540 They honesty were not bad at all as daily drivers. All of mine had the push button automatics. The flat six in.the 57's with a 2 speed powerflite was a slug. That being said I prefer the 318 cars. 1957...

    shots from the garage...

The heat’s been pretty brutal out here too, had a month of 100+ with some mixed in 112/113’s. Finally calmed down some and in the 80/90’s. So tightening the terminals fixed the two step ya think? I honestly hate electrical problems and been working in the field for 35 years…

Air suspension on '73 dart sport?

I have no idea. You're going to have to experiment around with it and see.

Air suspension on '73 dart sport?

Most new air shocks can handle air pressure up to 100 psi. Never run them empty. Set the pressure at 34 psi and go from there.

    340 or 408?

To me once your over 400 cid it's basically a big block now anyways just looks like a small block.

    340 or 408?

I start post for types of conversations. I don't have any vested interest what the OP builds, whatever he feels best suits him, for better or worse, best we can do is lay out realistic pros and cons and then it's up to him which way to go, then try to help him get the best out of whatever...

Air suspension on '73 dart sport?

Thanks for taking the time for such a long response. I appreciate it. The amount of stress on the springs will be minimal; mostly people and possibly some light luggage. No towing boats or carrying heavy cargo. Any suggestions on the optimal PSI in air shocks? So I can get an estimate of how...

    shots from the garage...

Two weeks ago it was my “intention” to maybe take the trek to Vegas for at least Saturdays race…. but alas it’s going to be 112 here and 100ish in Vegas. It’s really too bad they don’t run in the evening up there anymore. It was hot, but at least when the sun went over the mountain it was...

Air suspension on '73 dart sport?

Thanks! I have a tire gauge so I'll check the pressure out. What do you think the bandwith in PSI is? So I can get an estimate of how low I might go in lowering the car by releasing air from the shocks. Sorry if I'm ging too much into detail.. I'm new to the world of classics and mopars in...

Dodge Dart Seneca for sale NOT MINE

I had 2 1960 Plymouth Savoys (2dr sedans) with the slant 6's and automatics. They were not bad at all. I got around in them just fine. Kept up with modern traffic just fine, even on the freeway. I think the weight on those cars was only 3,400 or so. I would have kept them but they were rusty and...

    340 or 408?

I get tired of the small block guys claiming if you build a street engine and don’t use a 4 inch arm it won’t drive. If that’s the case they should just build a big block. And they would shove a long arm in that and do the same thing it.

It seems impossible to find anyone to cast these glitter grip wheels anymore. These dodge wheels and the plymouth "aero wheels" nearly always have the translucent sections missing or crumbling away.

    Idle Transfer Slot on secondaries?

The way I have done it for 60 years (Right or Wrong) is to have no transitional slots exposed. . If required, I drill small holes in the throttle plates to get the idle high enough to tune with the Air Bleeds. However, I deal with very radical engines with very little vacuum signal.

Air suspension on '73 dart sport?

No offense meant for the following: I love these threads. They make me smile when someone asks a question that has them confused and it is a situation that others have seen and dealt with many years ago. Yeah that valve is similar to what you see on your wheels. They are Schrader valves that...
