    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

30-60 yards is the perfect pistol shot! My go to is an old Ruger single action Super Blackhawk 44. We are in bow season right now. Alternate (muzzle loader) does not start for a couple of weeks yet. Bow season is hard work! Our boys all use cross bows. While I fully understand the efficiency and...

    5.9L Magnum questions

Yes, requires the tool. If you're careful, you don't need the tool for removal. You'll have to be very careful not to nick or gouge the bores taking them out. So, if you're taking it to a shop for a hone and clean up, just have them do the cam bearings too.

I obviously need new cam bearings. Do I have to buy a tool for this job, or is there a decent way to get them out/in without one?

70 dart 470 ci drag car build.

Well done, doors hide a lot of weight. Dropping mine to tear them apart I slashed my palm pretty darn good when one got away from me. I have used my tranny jack under them ever since. I rigged it up so I can raise it with my foot if my hands are tied up.

    New setup- 340 based 416, 360 based 387, or 360 based 408?

Agree, but...... I'd prefer the kit for the rod upgrade and the extra cubes are just a bonus.

    Water Leak question...

Solid clamp-load, no deformed regular washers dropping into adjustment slots; ring a bell? I use them wherever I can, like on alternator brackets, carb bases, etcetera; anything that needs periodic adjustment or repeated removal. I thought it was a great idea! but if you think I should go...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

What do you use? I've done a few of our cars with the 3M kits for a drill and they came out good. Once the coating is sanded off PlastX works good. Used that last time on the Journey with a 5" pad on buffer.
