Self-centering (or lack thereof) in park and camber / caster / toe settings

There is a little mention of it in my 72 manual. Which manual are you looking in? Valve body out of adjustment. If vehicle leads to the left, move the steering valve housing up on the steering housing. If vehicle leads to the right, move the steering valve housing down on the...

    Anti Freeze question

It probably is. But my car is a street car and that coolant is legal for it. So NHRA can suck it up and clean it up. And you are less likely to have a leak using Evans coolant because it does not build pressure. If the coolant is on the track because I hit the wall, caught on fire and backed...

We drove Mr. Buddy's truck into town today for the first time since getting the new engine running to put gas in it. Old man can shift that Muncie purdy dang good. It didn't get over 140 degrees the whole time, except when we cut it off. lol

what are you using for headers in your hemi A body?

Thank you for that. The 2 1/4 are real hard to fit. The TTI come coated with Flanges as well. Those look like nice race headers though.

    Anyone know anything about Subarus?

Well, we will look into these JDM motors a bit more, it seems to be quite the business in North America importing engines from Japan, from all makes, i assume because their only allowed to keep their cars on the road for 10 years because of emissions laws i understand? But there are subtle...

Self-centering (or lack thereof) in park and camber / caster / toe settings

You removed and reinstalled the steering box right? Might have just bumped the valve in the process. It doesn’t take much. I wouldn’t think changing the o-ring would do it, but maybe the steering worm gear shifted a smidge when you did that.

    Weird aftermarket stereo problem

i think that is the way of cheap Chinese stereos. Some don’t last long. Just luck if you get a good or bad one. I have had a similar experience with computer monitors. The cheap ones last a year or two. The name brands last forever.

Thrust issues with AFR gauge and Brawler carb

I quoted this post again so I don’t have to keep going up and looking at it on my phone. The 70 idle air bleed may be fine depending on what size your idle feed jet it, or restriction as that is used interchangeably. IMO that MAB is way too big. IMO .026 is a better starting point. What...
