I agree, 15-20ish. Main issue is, where it really helps, the stock 318 cam is too rpm limited.

That 6901 is a perfect cam for a stock 318. It's pretty mild.

I agree. I ran that 6901 in a stock teen with stock heads etc and 600 Holley it was fun to a point it didn't rev much or should I say the power band was reached pretty quick. I have read that, the best cam for a stock 318 is the stock cam...and I d bet its true. But its like .399 lift or...

Then as a 318 owner myself.. i will say... go on market place and find a 360.... you will have much more torque and power for much less money.. on a good day you can find one for $300ish.. put in a cam and intake and you will probably be in the same range as the 318 with heads/cam/intake...

There isn't a 1 formula fit's all Hemi builds or any other type of engine. Intended use and all variables involved will determine what cam or even type of cam to be best for combo, Ex you wouldn't get great results in a 318 with 106 cam 238 degree with 3.23 gears, even if the formula says so. or...

yeah.. when i picked my cam i thought it would be very mild... wrong.. being on 109 didn't seem to make it any more pleasant but it sounds great :)
