I wouldn't even consider it impressive really. It's only ran low 6s with a 300 horse nitrous kit?

cast iron headed small block heading for 5's in the 1/8 !!!

Yeah, i know what it is. I don't know if the engine in it now is the same one. Big James and Little James were both from Arkansas and this Nova was intended to get into some heads up racing at a "local" - kinda backwoods very narrow track ... lol, all in good fun of course. Certainly...

[FOR SALE] B-body 8.75 rearend drum to drum

This is NOT a A-body rearend, this is a 65-67 B-body rearend with factory big bolt pattern - $450 I have used this in Mopar A-bodies numerous times over the years on A-bodies running 15x7 cop wheels and saved $$$ not having to buy aftermarket axels & getting bigger cheaper brakes. This is...

63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

That is a darned good answer! Well, I don't need it right now, but I see there's a bunch of carburetors on ebay. I heard/read that the choke rod which comes from the exhaust manifold isn't very good and that an electric choke would be better~ meh, we'll get to that much later;) found this...

I'm Cummins swapping a '74 Duster, thought I'd share the progress.

I haven't test fit the G56 yet , but it's quite a big transmission so It might interfere with the hex keys of the torsion bars

You'd be surprised what you can do with less than 4000 rpm, as far as cooling, I know I can certainly decrease cooling capacity most of the cooling is for heavy hauling anyways, unloaded I've never seen my personal truck nor my work truck exceed 198°F, granted, I'm not doing a lot of hot rodding...

cast iron headed small block heading for 5's in the 1/8 !!!

You know 7.50’s in the 1/8 is only 11.70’s in the 1/4. My 340 street car ran 11.82 back in the 70’s. Nitrous is the only thing impressing here.

AMC/JEEP 242 (4.0) Flywheel bolt pattern draw diagram or other Mopar engine compatible

Hi !!, thanks for your helps. Your data perfect concern whit data sheet from Luk about 4.0(242) Flywheel. I have been to the spare parts stores and they tell me that they do not have any flywheel similar to the one I need. In my country, in the 70s, there was an automobile factory that could...

The reason they (crank manufacturers) sell cranks with multiple keyways is because when you drive more components from a hub or pulley, one key does not meet the requirement for strength. Supercharging is a very specific example where double keyed cranks and dampers (or hubs) are used.

63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

Well BBD is Carter's shorthand for their 2-barrel carb. A BBS is their 1-barrel. I think there is a better explanation but it is eluding me at the moment. CRS at its finest!
