Yep. THey source spirit from other distilleries. Yhey may have some of their own juice to bottle but if legal, it will be young.

Yes slight changes can be made with grinding the tips ,and if to bad replacing valve Seats or by installing new valves that have never been ground ,a spring slim has no effect on valve height

I have heard that some newer wheel cylinders have built in residual valves or something that makes the valve unneeded. If it was me I would look for a proper replacement, or see if you can get a valve and seat and install in the mc. ALSO .. my research shows that the 1" mc for the application...
