Rear end advice for racing with a 4 speed

I have a 22lb McLeod lightweight steel flywheel and McLeod Super Street Pro clutch. As far as the abuse I throw at it I’m launching at 4500 and shifting at 6500 when racing.

Rear end advice for racing with a 4 speed

Hey Grant, I have a McLeod Super Street Pro clutch. I actually bought a clutch tamer from you earlier this year but to be honest I haven’t been able to get it dialed in and I wasn’t using it when my rear end broke. I’ll PM you and hopefully I can get some pointer’s from you on getting it...

These reusable zip ties are so cool

I “borrowed” a big bag of them from my dad in the ‘90’s! I’m down to my last dozen or so. Hummingbird feeder weighs about 3#, refilled every week, year round. Lots of weather and temperatures! Love ‘em

    72 Dodge Dart Swinger

Today I put in the Pertronix ignition kit and the Pertronix Flame Thrower II Coil. I did the fuel hose modification to reroute the line In front of my engine. Couldn't figure out why the seat and needle wouldn't work on the fuel intake side of the carb. . . spewing gas from my carb. . . . Ended...

Rear end advice for racing with a 4 speed

Wow thanks for all the replies everyone. To be honest I wouldn’t consider putting in a Ford 9”, my car is a lot of things, cruiser, the odd car show, drag racing now, and of course a mopar, I just can’t cross that line of putting in a 9” even though a lot of guys do. It’s definitely sounding...

    Fresh carnage!

Actually, it goes in the top passenger's side hole. That's the hole that's open to the intake valley so oil can drip out......if you're lucky.

Fire destroyed Big 3 Racing shop

This actually happened a few months ago. A number of expensive customer cars got destroyed inside the shop. Like 15 or more, don’t remember now, talked to him at the Mopar event at 42 first part of August. He had very good insurance. He is going to reopen on the grounds of Dragway 42.

Fire destroyed Big 3 Racing shop

One of the Millwrights I worked with moved in with a girl and a year later her horse burned down. The insurance company rushed them into making their lists of stuff they lost. Three months after the insurance company settled we were working and he said damn. I said what’s up. He forgot to claim...

And at those speeds it shows I don't need as much hp as that.
