Overdrive Transmission for 630 HP motor

I have a 86 dodge d150, 318 with a 727 electric overdrive. I have heard these transmissions have all the durability of a regular 727. Might make a good choice after beefing it up to handle your torque and horsepower.

Give your pickle fork a rest

These babies work like magic, got mine at harbor freight for $20. No more bashing pickle forks like a hammer mechanic. Word of caution, the ball joint tends to come out flying like cruise missile, so be prepared and stay out of the way. Also do not use around anything valuable that could be...

    72 Dodge Dart Swinger

So I have done this in the past. My butterfly opens. However, the linkages for the accelerator and kick down just haven't looked right. In trying this again and leaving the brick on I found the butterfly did open but my carbs mechanical cams weren't actuating the kick down enough. In playing...

    FABO Gold Members selling products

Other forums I'm a member on, prevents users without X amount of posts to be able to post classifieds. (25, 50, 100 posts depending on the site), unless they become paid members. Strict rules on the classifieds there are enforced, even with watermarks for that forum, or edits on every image...

    FABO Gold Members selling products

I agree and a good suggestion. It would really help with the new members, joining, dropping an ad, and disappearing as soon as they hit the enter button. If I see the rules broken, I usually delete the thread and ask them to repost following the sale rules. 2 things, I will move this to Website...

Are these 1966 Barracuda or Valiant headlight bezels.

In order to discern between Valiant and Barracuda bezels, you need to look to the inside edge of the bezel where it meets the grille section. barracuda has a flat bottom edge that sits on the grille surround, the Valiant ones have a scalloped edge because they sit on the tines of the Valiant...

Give your pickle fork a rest

Many of you already are aware of how the pickle fork can destroy your dust boot covers and are already aware of this particular tool used to split ball joints BUT……for those that are not….. this tool is for you. The pickle fork has its place mind you, but you find that it will reside further...

Just a Note About New Lifters

Soo apparently, when Mr. gasket says 4 degree offset cam key it is 8 degree of valve timing change. Kind of makes sense as I am learning. I was at 112 centerline and the key changed it 8. I was after 4 degrees change to put me at 108. Earlier, before I got the key, I was playing around and...
