    Depends on the person. IMHO that is getting a bit more duration than I would want for a street 318. To me 220° @ 0.050" is about the max for a street 318. As you are aware a larger displacement tollerates or likes more duration and lift. Personal preference and expectations vary widely.

    The 350 is making about 30 hp more at 3,000 rpm then the 318 pretty good gain, but the 350 also has better flowing heads.

    It isn't hate it just doesn't make sense to cite funds as a reason to not pick up a 340-360 but then dump a bunch of money into a 318.
