For one thing the 4-link rear requires more fabrication & modification than I care to do on this car and I prefer to keep the front suspension more true to the factory design.

Yes was working on the front suspension of the dart. Getting the rack and pinion installed. I’d bolted the front wheels on to the front spindles and they were hanging free. I was moving the spindle to the tierod when some how the spindle came off the the upper ball joint and the full set up...

And just get the idea of a rack and pinion out of your head, unless you’re going to spend $5k and replace the whole front suspension with an RMS or HemiDenny conversion. There is no rack...

...bother and would go straight to a tubular UCA to provide the additional caster. The only advantage to a coil over front end is the rack and pinion and header clearance. Beyond that it's all cons- requires chassis stiffening to work properly with the Mopar chassis because it doesn't load the...

...are, what the REAL benefits are, not just "they're nicer". What the performance advantages are. And the coil over conversions do have advantages, they're really the only way to run a rack and pinion on these cars. I don't believe a rack and pinion is necessary myself, but that's just my opinion.
