I would require adult supervision for such things. Odds are I would completely brick the truck if I started futzing with The Matrix

Oh yeah. We have the largest ACE in like 7 southeast states. No square head battery bolts. OReilly has um of course, but I wanted stainless or brass.....which is a no with them. Kegan found me some titanium. Pricey, but hell yeah. lol

What would cause engine to jam while cranking??

LOL I have to tell you guys everything?. Actually sometimes I static time with the ignition ON. I get the dist retarded, points closed, and "rig" a gap or neon lamp to the coil wire, then move the dist until I get a spark. With practice, you can do the same thing with...

Rusty, even Ace hardware has SOME brass and stainless hardware. You don't have a local fastener's store? I would not expect Lowes/ HD to have much, but surely they have some stainless

    1965 273 Intake Manifold Gaskets

for the most part, yes. however, special attention should be paid to the intake and exhaust ports-- 273 & early 318 are smaller and a mismatch can result in a poor seal or intake leak.

And just how much power is being drawn? You should be able to not modify the factory wiring, and disconnect the original coil + wire, connect that wire ONLY to the small red Also be absolutely CERTAIN you have NOTHING connected to the coil EXCEPT the two wires from the MSD. If...

    1965 273 Intake Manifold Gaskets

the 1213's are close, but not a dead nuts match. reasonable closeness for my application: 68 318 2bbl heads and an LD4B great quality gaskets though.

Absolutely, and if you do, remember to have the intake surface milled as well. The machine shop should know the formula.

    1965 273 Intake Manifold Gaskets

Print-O-Seal.. Very good gaskets. I needed thin and had some steel shim gaskets. (heads milled and intake surfaced after the fact)

My old house had no roof ventilation. You could see the moisture running out from under the metal roof. Got rid of that house right quickly.

Those show a 2 barrel port. These are coming up as good for an LA small block, and half as thick. Curious what others have used in their builds. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/fel-1213s3

1974 Plymouth Valiant Scamp - Restoration is a strong word

The greater part of fixing anything is taking it apart, cleaning it, and putting it back together. If you're still working on the hood adjustment, a new set of bumpers might be worth buying.

Just a Note About New Lifters

I've seen condensation on unfinished buildings to the point it looked like rainfall. If the metal is galvanized, it will ruin an automobile paint job.

Just a Note About New Lifters

Corrosion of bare steel is usually due to condensation. I would get that in my garage in Atlanta. No problem in my garage in drier California now, but I still get condensation outside under a carport in winter, even dripping from metal rafters. It is due to the temperature changes, which are...

Progression Ignition's programable distibutor initial review.

Truly. The Progressive Ignition app allows from 0 degrees on up for adding vacuum advance plus control of whichever vacuum it is set at and reacts to. In my case, it was adding less than 10 degrees. The root of my problem was even that is too much at lower engine speeds. I think I may have...

Yes that problem will be solved, however why is the existing positive coil wire powered when key is off?
  27. Mopar44134

    318 build

Switching to 360 typically drops compression a point or more. Older 318s were higher in compression. Cleaning up the ports on the 318 would be ideal rather than giving up compression.
