    My set from Clifford for my 1974 225 bolted right on. No issues at all. Everything was perfect- nice thick flanges. I used a Rem-flex gasket. They don't hang to low.

    I’d have to hear a realistic assessment of what the finished result is hoped to be before recommending 318 or 360 heads. The milder the combo, the more I’d lean towards staying with the 318 heads. I know of a few 318’s where 360 heads got swapped onto them, without the details being sorted out...

    Torque converter with slant six

    My drag car had a 4500 stall. For street used a 3500. Same as Charrlie_S. I had a special converter made. Hughes transmissions did a small pilot/big spline for me. Tho I never ran Edge,I understand several Slant racers are happy with their converters.
