    Hello Again

Hey guys Johnparts back from the dead, You may remember my 1000 page build on my 1974 plymouth scamp. I never did finish that car however I am now working at a classic car shop and working on a few cool A body projects. I did find my old Scamp on facebook marketplace and it looks to be 90%...

I think they look pretty good. I'm almost positive a low heat tig weld just fill those little holes shouldn't warp them. They would look better and paint better.

oh yes!...1000 percent... Canada rewards the people that know how to cheat the system. I'm sure USA has their bullshit laws but the CDN law system favor the lazy people in our fine country. Its a shame where our country is headed! my parents needed a trade to even be considered...

I'm guessing that the originals had rivets as well. Maybe he was attempting to mimic oem. Real nice guy from just messaging back and forth. Not sure if tig welding would warp them. ??

    Looking for PCM options

Last week I picked up a 5.7 Hemi/8HP70 drop out of a 2015 Dodge Charger. Supposed to have 60k miles on the engine/trans. I don't currently have a project car ready to drop this stuff into, but I would like to get it started/running on a stand. I got the wiring harness with the engine, but no...

Rental properties does not come without its hardships. Getting a good tenant is like winning the lottery. Here in Ontario, the tenants have all the rights unfortunately (and fortunately) depending on how you see it. There are people that will use the laws to their advantage. But, like...

Those are pretty nice. I might have an original one...Ill post it if I do and send you a P.M. I know I have several 273's but I have an older 340 x head in the barn that may have them. I would have used a resistance spot welder rather than the rivets. But, now that you have them maybe drill out...

That will make you money but it come at a high price. Interest, property taxes, maintenance, repairs from asshole tenets, dealing with asshole tenets. And once their in there it’s a real hassle to get them out, here in Winnipeg anyway. Then there’s capital gains tax when you sell. There’s...

    Torque converter ID?

Look for stampings & stickers, even if the stickers have no markings, sometimes the color or shape ID's a Hi-Stall unit or specific app.

Interesting thoughts and observations on OD transmissions

I find it interesting that you have your OD set up to lock so late. What differential gear are you running? I had that same type of pressure switch setup in my car with a 46rh. I had the pressure switches adjusted for "normal" acceleration, so it went into OD at about 50 mph and lockup at...

    340 heat shield/gasket

I really wish that I had an original to compare it to. I vaguely remember my original that I removed from the 69 340 back in 1970. I have a question for the gentleman who is selling these which pertains to the rivets. Other than that I'm happy with them. They aren't going to be installed for a...

I had a very successful house/commercial painter tell me that you can only make so much money with your hands. If you want to be really wealthy, you gotta use your money and invest. He has several rental properties. Good friend of mine did just that too. He works for a lumber yard and is a...

    Another "brake help" thread...

Keep in mind that calipers merely relax, movement of a few thousands if not "knocked back" by a bent rotor. The difference in fluid volume between the 2 diameters is minimum. Once bled, the M/C just adds pressure to an already full system. Cheers

    Evaluating old Wiring Harness

At one time this car had a lucas driving light that may have increased the h/l load. Several of my mopars over the years have had the ammeter fry and get bypassed (not this one, but 'only just' by the looks of it). This one did burn through voltage regulators on the regular, however, also no...
