    Flexplate orientation/Transmission to engine mounting?

So the OP MIGHT need a sleeve in his crank to makeup the machined difference between manual and automatic crank?

that most certainly would not have come on anything pre 72. those would've come off anything from 73+ and a lot of the components are shared across several body styles thru the 80's a quick note: with the calipers mounted to the front there is a possibility of the caliper contacting the...

    Hot restart issues.

Crank, maybe not fire. If it struggles to crank, likely has something happening with ignition in the chamber. Funny that the guy saying this stuff also says that MSD aren't sensitive to voltage. I'm out. Simple diagnosis stuff, pull coil wire, try it, add a jumper try it. Hillbilly stuff...

    Led Lights

These Sylvania Zevos will work at least reasonably well in the '67 Dart reversing lamps. The Philips ones with the LEDs in a sorta-filament position might work, too; have to try and see. The Philips ones with the three outward-facing panels of LEDs are junk in any lamp, as are the ones with the...

Troubleshooting 73 Dart Slant 6 not starting.

Hi. I didn't get any sparks out of the coil. I traced the wire from the - side of the coil to the ignition control module with my ohm meter and it Read 0 ohms. I then placed my voltage meter on AC and monitored it to ground while cranking the engine. The meter read erratic voltages which...

Technically, I'm in agreement. However, there are a couple of reasons I personally prefer high temp RTV. First off of course, it seals. Then it withstands heat. Lastly, it also acts as an anti seize. I've always had good luck with it on bolt threads. It works "for me".

    Led Lights

If you can wait, wait. JW Speaker will be releasing all-new LED sealed beams in a few months. I was just at their HQ last week, and I got a detailed look at them including an extensive night-drive. They are much better, and they'll be significantly less expensive, with a bunch of options...

Which is fine, because Permatex № 2 is a few hundred miles closer to being an appropriate material for this application than RTV.

Turn signal problems on 75 duster

I tore the dash apart and found a flasher in the dash that I wasn't aware of. I replaced it with a new flasher and the turn signals are working properly now. But the hazards only work if you have the turn signal on as well. I also found a flasher 552 in this plug (photo below), it states in the...

They claim they will fire at 10 volts or something. I know I've tested them at 16 volts and found some power. It wasn't much but it was repeatable.
