    14" wheeels on a dart.

245/60x14 Rear 185/70x14 Front I have some clearance problems back on the outside, think it´s because the Nova axle is wider, have raised it a bit but have to mount HighJackers i think. I had 185/65x14 infront earlier, but i changed to 70 to fill up more air over wheel. Gona lower it some more...

    904 converter missmatch

I almost a little bit ashame, lol. When thinking some more about it i figured that because i have an 70´s engine block they must have put in a crank earlier then -68, and why would they do that? So after looking closer at the engine (my father looked earlier and mesured the hole to 40mm) , i...

    904 converter missmatch

After some research i have figured that out too, i thought it would work since i have an engine block from around mid 70´s, but it looks like there is an older crankshaft in the engine, perhaps from the same engine where my -66 heads originate from. But my questions remain, can i get it to fit...

    904 converter missmatch

Not the bolts, the aligment "plug" (dont know Eng word) in the center of converter that aligns with the hole in the crankshaft is to big on te converter that fist on the tranny.

    904 converter missmatch

Was trying to fit my renovated 904 on my 318 and after many bad words i figured out that the crankshaft aligment hole is just 40mm, and the "plug" on converter is 45mm. So i tried to use my old converter that fits, but on the new 904 the inner axel is 22mm, the old one had 20mm, so it wont fit...

The heads aren´t worked over, atleast not that i could se when i did i quick workover on them, same valve size as original atleast. So about 270hp is what i can expect if it is the best 340 cam then? Nice to know, probably will put on some 340 heads too next winter, had a couple of 3418915 heads...

    Hp/torque?

I just talked with the guy that built the engine 23 years ago and he didn´t rememeber what 340 cam it was. But according to him, the guy he bought it from said that with his setup and that cam he would have about 300hp, could that be true?

    Hp/torque?

The blocks casting number is 4006730-318-4. The heads casting number is 2658920-3. Unfortunally i have no idea what 340 cam it is, i have had some contact with the guy building it 23years ago, i´ll look him up again and ask him if he knows what kind of cam it is. And after my research the block...
