Was trying to fit my renovated 904 on my 318 and after many bad words i figured out that the crankshaft aligment hole is just 40mm, and the "plug" on converter is 45mm.
So i tried to use my old converter that fits, but on the new 904 the inner axel is 22mm, the old one had 20mm, so it wont fit on the new tranny.
My first question is, is there a converter with 40mm guidance "plug" and splines to fit a 22mm axel?
Second: Is the "plug" massive? can i "grind" it down to 40mm?
Sorry for some words, couldn´t figure out what it is called in English, i hope you all can figure out what i meen.
