Well i see the first indicator is it clears after you cycle key. And im guessing it comes on the moment you start moving or until you make the first turn. First start rolling then its a tone ring/sensor fault and if its when you turn steering wheel,then a bad wire to one of the front sensors...

I had same car but 69, 1 of like 25. Rare breeds for sure once u add vert and 4spd(thus my name). Fingers crossed for ya.

62 Hawk would have been a GT (Gran Turismo) Hawk, and would have had a 289 - 2 barrel, 4-barrel, or supercharged. GT Hawks were basically the same body as the 56 Hawks, but note the different roof (copied from the late fifties - early sixties Thunderbirds).

I need to do more research on this one. I know there are other numbers in the body panels that match as well.. Car has not been chopped.. I'm sick that someone parted this thing out though.

Got my 1/4 x 32 tap today and installed the .040 jet in the main oil passage plug. I couldn't get the plug out, so I just screwed the jet in from the front. I also got my valve height mic today and took all those measurements. I have lots of shims, but of course I don't have the right ones so...

That's a shame that some douche sold/stole the vin. I would edit the title of this thread to include the entire vin # youre looking for. That way Google will pick up on it better. Chk DMV with that vin to see ifnit is registered
