Installing flexplate on a 440 build. Just checking here:
-Is the orientation correct?
-What is the torque spec?
-Do I need to tighten these in a star pattern?
-Is red or blue loctite needed?
Thanks.

Bonus questions:
-What torque spec for the bolts that connect the torque convertor to the flexplate?
-Torque specs for the transmission to the engine block?

Yep, it only fits one way.
Loctite is a good idea.
All the torque specs for the entire car are in the FSM.
If you don't have one, stop right where you are until you do get one.

When you go to bolt the converter to the flex plate, you wont be able to get a ratchet and socket in there. You will most likely have to use a box end wrench. Just FYI - torque to where your elbow is ready to give out,. and that should equate to tight enough........

Strange that you can’t fit a socket on there.
How would the factory torque them then?

Do you use loctite on those bolts?
