I am working on a 1973 duster 340 my bucket seats have the same tracks you are showing there are only latch on the outside track the inside has teeth but no way to attach to other track

I run a drop of blue loctite on each bolt. Before doing that be sure all the bolts thread because the flexplate will only align to the TC bolt holes one way. When I had my engine out I put the flexplate onto the TC and found how things aligned, then I marked the TC and flexplate with a little...

Fixed mine. I just got a longer spring and attatched it to the front of the transmission housing through an empty hole with a nut/bolt. Shifts and runs just like its supposed to now. Thanks for the ideas guys
