Nope. The bolt holes are different. LA angled (almost 90° to the head) and the magnums are vertical. Some new manifolds have dual bolt holes.

A running mildly hop up magnum is the best bang for the dollar, people get too hung up on the cracked head problem. It only matters if rebuilding and generally aftermarket heads are the way to go anyways in that case.

Did you see what I did for that? Shorter nipple, LA bypass hose, 45 degree hose, aluminum connector nipple and 2 Gates heat shrink connectors. No kinks and almost not noticeable.

I doubt there much worse than 318 manifolds, probably 5 hp less at worse, I wouldn't over worry about on a mild early A car. There's another shootout that I can't find anymore that included magnum manifold to and was basically same as the 340. The best was one 340 and one magnum I forget which...

That test was pointless. The stock cam doesn't even have lobes (exaggeration, but close) so the exhaust isn't the limiting factor and this didn't show anything. They should have done the test with the 380 HP crate motor not the 300 HP crate motor. Completely worthless test. If it was me, I...

Mid 20's I would say if you drive it easy. RPM @ 60? You can have some fun here calculating rpm at speed and such. You need to keep the cruise rom at or below 2000 to be efficient. Calculate GEAR, RPM, MPH, TIRE DIAMETER

Here's what a 360 Magnum looks like dressed like a "day 2" 340. I used all LA front, including alternator, all brackets, power steering ,pulleys, valve covers etc. One ***** was to get the bypass hose to fit. Also getting a lower rad hose that worked properly. Let me know if I can help further.

I have done a couple magnum swaps. Probably cheaper than most. I buy a truck. Rusted rotted junk for 300 to 800 bucks. Pull the engine, flex plate, starter, and anything else worth saving. Sell any parts that you can sell of the truck quick and easy. Scrap the rest for most of your money...
