I have been going through and trying to read as much as I can. Sometimes it’s gets a bit overwhelming with the headers vs manifold debate. Sometimes I just may not be searching in the right threads either I am sure.

What material are you using? Soft copper? Or a composite like Comedic uses on their exhaust gaskets for headers? Something else?

Well pardon me for saying Jeep. Many Magnum manifolds will fit. Some may work. Others not. You need to do some reading. Like I said. There are a lot of threads in the exhaust forum about the subject.

Yes, I ran LA headers on my 360 mag.

Left side will hit with 64-66 LH or Drivers Side exhaust manifold using 73? up LA heads with the air boss. No problems with 67 up manifolds. Magnum heads have the same small exhaust port and do not have an EGR air port so they should work with the 64-66 exhaust manifold as well.

92-3 ?? Dakota RT 360 Magnum 2 1/2 outlets very similar in flow to 68-71 340 manifolds

Why not use Fel-Pro gaskets and match port the gaskets to fit over the gap and under the exhaust lower port. Should be enough pressor to stop a leak. Never had this issue on a sb Mopar, but I did on a Chevy 350 and had to double up on the gaskets to get a good cushion seal.

I think you need to do some kind of mod to them, plus there's different ones I think the earlier magnums were better, I wouldn't worry about it, your 360 ones will do.

Not all "magnum" manifolds are created equal!!

They say the exhaust manifolds from a 5.2/5.9 Magnum engine flow much better than the old school ones, you just have to make some head pipe adjustments.

The "good" magnum manifolds have 2-1/8" outlets. Just a tad smaller than late 60's 340.

Pretty sure Dougs makes a drop-in header for a small block in an early A. Probably other options out there too. You could always go with manifolds too. It doesn't take a lot to get these little cars moving.

Nope, too new. The 68-70 340 manifolds are the first choice and the 71-74 manifolds are next best. There are combinations of LA and Magnum manifolds that work well too. There are many threads here on FABO about all those choices. Yes, if the headers are in good shape I would probably leave them.
