I had the car in the air and running...had the same thing happen. It made a grinding noise and went into park with effort. Moving forward I disconnected the driveshaft and it went into, R,N,D no problem, going back to P it takes effort...grinding. Any ideas?

Hey @partsmonsta I know you have and still restore a ton of bezels. Could you confirm what anodizing is done on these? Did you reanodize the bezels and tail panels when you do them ?

Believe me, I'd love to get there eventually. I don't recall the Viper ratio off the top of my head, but I want to say it's ~3 turns lock to lock. If I had power steering of some variety on the Dart I would certainly be looking at a faster ratio, but back when I did the Hemi swap over a decade...
