    I love Evaporust!

I tried same thing, it goes thru a chemical change and loses its strength. Key is to use it warm and fill as many voids as possible. Have to get creative with trays/containers/tubes. For example don't use a gallon to clean a wrench. Use just enough to keep part saturated. 5 gallon pail here is...

I'll do the barrel with two cinch nuts. Cut back the existing rod section so I can get some adjustment range.

    I love Evaporust!

I do like it and I've used it a good bit, but so far, I've not figured out how to keep it from losing its strength and it loses it pretty quickly. I've tried straining it too. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe I got a bad batch.

    '66 Dart headlight buckets

Is the adjustment way off? I had a similar issue when I put the front end of my '66 back together on the passenger side and it turned out to be way out of adjustment. I don't think it was that far off though. If I recall correctly, I believe both buckets were the same. I could be wrong though...

What's the best engine paint for the red that's on the early slant 6s and 273s?

Mopar Performance P4349218AB, altho it's tough to find. Used it on a couple engines now. I buy as many cans as I can find lol. Durable, stands up well. **edit** what I do cuz the MP is in short supply is use another red that's close as a base coat, then top with MP.

Because it's a bend and it will weaken it and possibly bend back under pressure. You never know. She might plan on some speed shiftin. lol

K.. Pig for my rear end is setup... doesn't look amazing but much better than the old gears, i just need to torque the saddle bolts once it put it on the ground, not trying on the bench.. I think setting up a rear end is my new most hated thing to do

k.. just curious why no heat? to the people saying cold for sure, that rod isn't structural and heating it even if it made the rod even slightly weaker, it's a shift rod not suspension parts...
