i assume a barrel nut and a bolt with the head cut off? gonna weld it or or just jam nut it?
I'll do the barrel with two cinch nuts. Cut back the existing rod section so I can get some adjustment range.ahh good enough

I only need enough of the original threaded section to accommodate the barrel.
Or use a turnbuckle Keeping the left hand thread active
I'll hit the real real hardware store near me and see what options they have Not sure what the thread is on it
I need to the interior installed this weekend. I have house guests coming and the seats are in that room.
Cut the ends off and use the right length and you can find these in Stainless. One end is the same as your thread and then keep the left handed par and just trim it
You can even cut the barrel and weld it back up to shorten it. I am doing this currently to fix my 3pt hitch on my tractor
I'm getting replacement defrost vents and hoses installed and the new gauge cluster installed. Waiting on the gauge faces to arrive.

Lol. It's through the bed. Can't tell if the ball is tack welded to the threaded bolt underneath.
Just want the ball gone, really
