No its an add on gear box that I think is controlled by switches. If you want to bang gears you'll need a manual trans.

Picked this up at a swap meet today to use on an engine break in stand I want to build. I know it's a mid 70s truck toploader bell. What diameter flywheel is needed with this? Both my V8s are internally balanced. I am assuming its 11" with 143T
