1.Valve cover rail increased in height approx .400 (dont quote me) to prevent oil slosh and valve cover leaks that SB mopar heads/valve covers are known for
2. Rail height also prevents rockers from hitting baffles on high light cams.

Picked this up at a swap meet today to use on an engine break in stand I want to build. I know it's a mid 70s truck toploader bell. What diameter flywheel is needed with this? Both my V8s are internally balanced. I am assuming its 11" with 143T

Come to think if it, I have never seen factory shag in a car myself, guess that I need to see a picture too. Now, my ' 78 Dodge ' Good Times ' van had red shag in it, still does.
