Say i go to pick-a-part..... What car/trucks had the 7 1/4 rearend that i can pull the gears from??

All 4 u-bolts are there and intact, it's in pretty good condition, gear oil was clean with no shavings, almost look's freshly rebuilt.... DAMN if i only had that drive shaft..... how can you tell if your tranny is a 904 or a 727, i was told by the previous owner that he "thinks" it's a 727 but...

The drive shaft is missing but the shock plates and u-bolts are still there......

Well i fryed my spider gears on the ol' swinger.... It is a 7 1/4 rear at the moment (turned by a stock 318/727).... I found a 8 1/4 at a scrap yard in another swinger (same year) for $260 out the door.... But i dont know if it's gonna require modification in order for it to bolt up...

I like SEM's hot rod black! It comes in a kit w/ one quart of single stage paint, 1/2 pint of reducer, and a 1/2 pint of hardener.. It's really is good stuff, i actually sell it at work and it's only about $80 for the kit and that should be more than enough to do your hood!

Well i got a little problem.... My dart has the (im assuming factory) towing package on it that i would have to remove before i have tail pipes installed... Heres my problem, should i ditch the hitch or keep it?!?! I'll never use it, EVER!!!! Is it a rare option?

So.... With a mild cam, aluminum intake manifold, 600cfm carb, and all the right little stuff..... Will i be puting out enough HP or exhaust flow to fill my 3" exhaust?? Also, would you highly recommed the tail pipes because i kinda dont like the look of them?.?.?.

Well at first i wanted to replace my gasket's because like you said, they were leaky... Then i thought i might as well adjust my valves since i'm gonna have the covers off anyway... So now i guess i dont have to mess with valve adjustments; but now i have to figure out why i'm leaking more oil...
