The lower trunk lid moulding got new black painted DODGE letters. Now it's in place. The GT emblems on the quarter panel in front of the wheels was a mystery. After some hour's searching I found it the insert areas were painted white.

Finally the body is ready or by today standard BIW. Body In White. All steel body. The GT emblem on the front part of the quarter panel on a 64 Dart GT. What color should the recessed area have?

Finally the hood and trunk lid are mounted on the body. Now it's just to get it home......! Big difference compare to when it showed up in crashed condition.

Production on the 74s started probably August 6th or 13th.

Last day were 731 or July 31st.

1973 production ended last week of July 1973.

I would say it's an early 1974 340 car.

I would say your 1974 Dodge were assembled in August 13 1973.

Inside hood and trunk was painted with epoxy primer. Next the paint were sprayed. Just the outside left.

The rest of the body except the hood and trunk lid is done!

Engine compartment done! Wow it looks brand new. Mikael even added the fendertag just as it should.

Underside almost done. Just awesome what smooth surface it ends up with. Next week the paint.

Ready for aqua polishing or water blasting. Not sure what's the correct word for it is. Anyway first time off with this method.
