I mean, the VIN on the sticker would indicate it’s a ‘73. But the build date would indicate it was probably built on the 1st day of ‘74 model year production. Late order held over after the re-tool?

Of course, that’s just a sticker. Not saying I don’t believe you, but seeing the other VIN stampings and other options on the car would go a long way. The ‘74 would have been a shock mounted front bumper for the early production, ‘73 would have a standard mount bumper.

I mean if you say so, I said “seeing”. But whatever, you say the numbers match.

More interesting things would be any new changes for ‘74 and whether they’re included or not- shock mounted front bumper, ‘74 window guides in the doors, interior pattern, etc.
