    Beef tips and noodles

This is a little heavy on the mushrooms but that’s easily fixed. My local Walmart sells Hormal beef tips in gravy and roast beef in gravy. I usually buy these and Bob Evans mashed potatoes. I may change it up sometime and cook up some noodles instead. Nice quick meal for a late shop day...

    Pulling from van tips ?

On my 76 dodge van I dropped the transmission and removed one seat and took it out the door. (360). I loaned my bolt on carb plate and a guy change my Dads 440 in his class C motorhome the same way. He bought one of those plates the next day.

    Friday racing at Norwalk

Beautiful weather all week just like last year and then rain today. At least the got trophy class, street class, and no box ran so they aren’t heading to the tent to drawl cards like last year. Matt didn’t get to run yet and he said it looks worse tomorrow. Planned schedule Because of the...

And that last 50 feet is my downfall. I messed up years ago and passed on classes they had at keystone by a multi time champion. Both theory and on track training. It wasn’t cheap but it’s something I really could have used.

Trick Flow Heads: Conflicting Info on Mechanical Roller Spring Pressure

Yep I’ll stick to old school here. My buddy that switched to an LS spring is so close to spec that he shifts at 6400rpm. If I want to shift that low I’ll build a diesel engine.

One for the big block guys. Not mine

My honest opinion on it is B1 heads on a stock Mopar block isn’t going to last long. I raced with Tom Hemphill for many many years and he probably built more B1 headed engines than most will ever see. Stock blocks are a throw away item at that horsepower level. It’s not will it break, it’s when...

Vic is kicking around the idea of putting fuel injection on this car so I may be porting another super Victor for him after he gets the injectors welded in. Then I’ll get my Super Victor back and may try it on my duster next year to see if I like it better than my Victor340.

    Possible Fuel Contamination

I’m more of a O2 or EGT type of guy. When I switched from pump gas to alcohol I recalibrated my O2’s to read it but soon switched to checking exhaust temps and degrees raised during a pass. I’ve been a hair rich but very consistent so I left my fingers off of it. If I was worried about a new...

You couldn’t afford it. The price I see guys getting for mild steel 8.50 cert cars is past crazy. A chrome moly 6.50 cert car would tilt the globe out of orbit.
