Thanks for the help! It’s an old Edelbrock street fighter tunnel ram. That’s a picture of the engine after the first “rebuild”. This time I’m going without the fuel pump, one carb and an airgap manifold. Trying to simplify things this time.

Thanks all. I am moving the PCV valve to the drivers side valve cover tied to the rear carb port and I will tie the manifold (Mopar Performance crate 360) port in my photo to the PB booster. Currently it is tee'd with the PCV connection...

The head will flow better than a stock head. Not much but better. The intake is better than stock. Watch out for the exhaust manifold hitting the head on the drivers side. You may need to buy an header flange to space the manifold out from the head. Also there can be alternator fitmen issues...

Accurate exhaust used to modify C-Body manifolds with steel pipe for 440 A-Body's, I have one still. A friend also modified a set of big block B-Body HP manifolds for use in his 68 440 Dart, I have those also! There are plenty of ways to get around the 017 drivers side manifold.

I drove it... again. Waiting on some more parts to come in- redline poverty caps, matching drivers side 68 hp exhaust manifold, and coolant puke tank. Waiting on radiators to get in stock and looking for more parts to do the 5x4.5 swap. Life is good! :thumbsup:

If it is running fine, not overheating, not making any weird noises I would not be to concerned. Drive it, put it thru 10 good heat cycles, read the plugs and make a determination. From time to time engines do weird things dont get hung up on it they will drive you nuts.
