    Barracuda fastback cargo area trim

Our 67 Fastback is the same, nothing there. Now that being said, you do have the fold down panel correct?

Much appreciated. I'll jump over to the classifieds and the book of faces see if I can source the proper dash frame

Stop in for a cup of coffee

No additional rain since 08:00. They expect it to start again Sunday night and remain until Tuesday. SpaceX 21:25 PST tonight SLC4E Vandenberg, launch time subject to change. Should be dry enough for Donut Derelicts in the morning :D

You bought the wrong dash frame for a 71. You have the correct plastic bezel but it will not work on that 73-76 dash frame. There could be something different with the glove box lock latch on the frame also depending on the year.

Pipe dope on my temperature sending unit. Is this okay?

    plane crash at Pomona

It's a big deal in the cockpit when an engine quits, I remember it like it was yesterday. It's like getting in a fight, everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face. We practice for it. Surprises me how many are successful, some are not. Glad that they made it. Don't think.the plane...

what is the most Desirable A body line

Even if my all-times prefered car is the '70 Barracuda, I sincerely think that the '71 Demon and Duster have the best roof line of Mopar A-bodies, but also of all 2-doors Mopars. Very well equilibrated and fluid line. Nice proportions.

Anyone have any idea what cam I might have?

Might be the same/similar camshaft I put in my 1965 273. It was termed "RV/Torquer", but had slightly higher lift than even the HiPo camshaft for that year, as I recall. I vaguely recall .422"/.444" lift at the valves. But I changed to hydraulic lifters. The adjustable 273 rockers allow...

    Bearing. For what?

"Mike" it. Most bearings are metric. There are rather special ones that are inch measurements, but these are usually for things like table saws where you have inch measurement blade arbor mounts, etc. Usually, if you get one measurement accurate, you can find the other without...

    Roof rail weather strip seal

Thank you to the members who responded. I now have a direction to go in as l am winding down the restoration of my car. BTW. The early a bodies as in 63/64/65 and 66 Darts have nice body lines unique only to those years. My GT is a restomod. Not stock. That includes Reilly Motor Sports...

what is the most Desirable A body line

My preference has always been all the 67-72 abodies. I like them all, I’m partial to my 67 barracuda that I own. But every time I see another variant, I think man I want that. Those Mr Norms darts and barracudas have always been the ultimate working class muscle car to me. The primer gray and...

    "Rodger That"

I hate this kind of stupidity. As a radio amateur, I also am annoyed by common CB lingo which has migrated to the amateur bands "Do ya gotta good copy on me?" is not even good grammar. Yeh I gotta good copy on ya "On the side." The side of WHAT? And I had someone on a local VHF...

    Randal...

I did not know that, but I figured he was well rounded with Mopar in general.

For me the 69 Dart GTS is top dog, it's the one that got me hooked on a bodies, followed very closely by the 1970 Dart. Then the Demon, Duster, Dart Sport.

best way to repair twin scoops

That’s about all they do. They’re not tall enough to get out of the boundary layer of air flow going over the hood so there’s not really any air moving at speed going through them. Plus the air would have to make a 90° turn from the inflow. If they caught any significant amount of air they’d...

what is the most Desirable A body line

Most desirable is 70-72 Demon with dual snorkel scoop due to the styling and low production numbers. Followed very closely by 70-72 Duster with sharktooth grille. In my opinion, if they would have put the Demon tail panel on the 70-72 Duster with a factory lift-off 6 pac hood, it would have...
