    bent rotor contact blade

    so i changed to an aluminum rad and new carb gasket, 360 fired right up, when i kicked the choke off the idle would surge, then engine would die.would not start after.troubleshooting i found a twisted contact blade on rotor under distributor cap, replaced it, still wont fire.this has happened...

    standard to auto neutral safety switch?

    72 demon, originally slant with 3 spd std, now 318 /727 with b&m megashifter. i have new NSS and pigtail. unfortunately i am not too adept with wiring. not worried about backup lights, just want it to start in P or N, any thoughts or ideas would be great. thanks

    dui tri power questions

    just received new dui tri power for 318 demon with 284/484 cam, supposedly custom curved from dui. they say to set it at 12 initial with 10 from vac advance to give total of 22 initial and it will be all in by 3000. does this sound right? whats a good 12v power source to bypass ballast resistor...

    firecore distributor issues

    first time i tried my new firecore distributor car ran rough ,pulled it and found chewd up reluctor blades, put in new reluctor, gaps were 008 to 014, still ran rough, yanked it and put MP dizzy back in, tried firecore again yesterday,same. upon closer inspection found one blade was hitting...

    new ballast resistor died in 10 minutes

    installed new voltage regulator and new ballast resistor at same time, engine started dying after 10 min run time, cooled it down, same thing again, put 10 yr old resistor back on and it runs fine. I think I read somewhere after this they are supposed to be done separately, something about...
