    67 Barracuda Build Sheet Decode

Can someone help me decode this broadcast/build sheet? It was under the rear seat in my car, but doesn't match my VIN. So if anyone recognizes their VIN here, let me know, and I'll send it to you.

Well I won’t say I’m never going to buy another set of Speedmaster heads

I did the same thing. If you're going to have a huge sale, make sure you have the parts to actually sell. I cancelled after 3 months of waiting, before my credit card would no longer consider it valid to negate, if necessary.

    First 1967 383 installed in a Barracuda

I think the reason for the #10 post was he was trying to convey this: "oddball C barge block with the special "wrap around" engine mount". But that engine was still in use in 1967.

340 Aluminum Head, Rocker Arm Upgrade

The main purpose for me to go with 1.6 ratio rockers is because I am preventing this project from spiraling away from me. What starts as replacing the intake goes to replacing the heads, rockers, then cam, timing set, bearings etc. Before you know it, you're rebuilding the whole thing, which I...

340 Aluminum Head, Rocker Arm Upgrade

I am about to install a port injection setup on the '72? 340 motor in my '67 Barracuda and would like to upgrade the headers, heads & rockers at the same time. I believe the motor is mostly stock, gauged just by it's power output. 1. Are there any aluminum heads that are clear winners over the...

    Guide to Poverty Cap Applications

The official name is hub caps. But since that has been confused with full wheelcovers for a century now, it's best to use a different name to avoid confusion. Dog dish caps & poverty caps are other names for them, and I prefer the latter, but either one works.

    Guide to Poverty Cap Applications

I have made an adapter and it works really well and is very easy to do. Just purchase some 1/2" outer diameter spacers from McMaster and weld them onto the small cap wheel nubs. All of the large caps will then work on it, except for the "Late '56 Dodge" caps, which are even larger for some reason.

    Guide to Poverty Cap Applications

12many: Thanks for the truck cap picture. I'm am working on a truck version, starting with '55-'61, but it's a lot harder than the car versions. Not sure when or if I can get it done. Matthon: It's possible that the early '67 Plymouth A-bodies might have used the '66 wide C-body cap before the...

    Guide to Poverty Cap Applications

Thanks, do you have some proof that this is true for '68 Plymouth B-bodies? It could be that the wheel you are referring to was used on the deep dish C-bodies in '68. I can understand a few B-bodies, here and there, that might have used a deep dish wheel, but not all of them as you are saying...

    Guide to Poverty Cap Applications

I've spent quite a bit of time figuring out all the different applications for mopar poverty caps and creating a pictorial guide for the purpose of helping others figure out which cap their particular car would have come with from the factory. There could be errors in this, so please inform me...

    1966 Valiant Dog Dish Caps

Thanks, those do make sense, given that the same part number was listed on '65-'66 Newports. But if so, then what was the application for the black ones? It isn't part no. 2768042 for the '66 Plymouth deep dish wheels as Ebay claims. Because those would have to be the small 9" caps, similar to...

    1966 Valiant Dog Dish Caps

According to the parts book, the '66 Valiant dog dish or poverty cap has a unique, 1 year only part number 2534845 than the '63-'65 Valiant caps 2401843. Does anyone know what this unique '66 cap looks like? Thanks.

    A Body WAGONS-Ho! A body Wagon Thread

Why would he claim for it to work with '62, but not '60-'61? And what happened with '66? It should be '60-'62, and then '63-'66. You would think he would know what his stuff fits.

[FOR SALE] 62 Valiant head light bezels

The automatic brake pedal in my '61 Lancer keeps my brakes applied (a little) after I release it. Can you tell me if there is a brake return spring on the pedal in the '62 Valiant? If so, how is it setup and what would you want for it? Thanks.

    A Body WAGONS-Ho! A body Wagon Thread

I really like that speaker solution. I have had them in the side panels in the back, and in the rear doors, but those in the floor panel look like the best solution. But I would use a more flat grill so that they wouldn't get in the way of sleeping back there or loading stuff.

    1960-1962 Valiant/Lancer thread

Thanks for everyone's help. I finally figured it out. They actually mount on the inside top of the hood catch panel and face downward. I believe the valence panel is at the bottom. The panel itself prevents them from rotating once they are mounted with only one bolt. Took me forever to figure...

Hello any '60-'62 Valiant or Lancer owners. My '61 Lancer doesn't have a brake return spring on it and forces me to pull up on the brake pedal every time I use them or else the brakes will drag and my brake light will stay on after I park etc. How is the return spring supposed to be setup on...

I am considering using this on my slant 6. Which setup do people recommend for it? I'm not sure a TBI system would solve the slant's fuel distribution problems.
