if you could use my other spare fenders I would consider letting them go. i may also have an additional front bumper and inner splashes but no more grilles or support. my barn is full of early 65 and 66 barracuda parts

While I agree, I simply don’t have the drive to do another one from that starting point. I fear those years are behind me. I want one I can just refine a bit and drive it.

I needed to change the axle seal on my 66 barracuda rear end. Put it together and the drivers side axle is sticking out 1/2 inch. Someone modified the backing plates by soldering bolts on it to push out the break pads. I have tried to adjust it in with no success. Do I need a bigger hammer...

If the '66 dash is original, it's a '66. Early 1966 Barracudas still had the "V". VIN will tell the tale.

...find of interest. I have a friend who spun a bearing in his jeep. #3 cylinder, I think. He bought a new motor for it and said I can have the old one for $100. Surprise its a hemi. I haven't seen it yet and don't know if I can put it in my 66 Barracuda. It is a Chrysler motor. What do you think.

Doug's on my 66 Barracuda. As @Plymouth 65 said, fun to install but once you get them in, you're good. I did have to dent mine a little for the steering coupler. I have a 5.9 Magnum. Here's a couple of photos. I have different valve covers now, but you see how close tight they are.

Not a Barracuda, but here are the reference photos I took of the doors on my '66 Dart hardtop before painting them along with one from after painting. I'm not sure the before photos reflected original paint, but I have no reason to think otherwise.

I don't know from personal experience, but I looked up 10" drums for both a 1966 and 1969 Barracuda, and they are the same part number. dust44d is the first in line having PM'd me first, but I'll let you know if they don't sell. Thanks for your interest.

What year is your Barracuda? A 2770378 is a variable wiper switch for a '66 Dodge only B-body. A '66 A-body uses 2770377.

Just my own experience with my 66 barracuda. I had the stock 14x5.5 in rims, which did not clear the Dr Diff stage 1 conversion kit. I went with the aftermarket SBP 14x6 Rallye wheels from wheel vintiques which do clear the calipers and work fine.
