    Electric fuel system

That's the setup I run, although I have EFI. If you go this route, mount the regulator right by the gas tank, then you don't have to run a return line the entire length.

[FOR SALE] PAXTON SUPER CHARGER NOVI 1200

To make this short less than 3 miles on it. It comes with every thing but fuel regulator & fuel return line. You get the sc, vaccum lines. MSD btm box, fuel lines, vaccum canister and lines coming from valve covers, quick fuel blow-thru carb, carb hat ect. It would probaly be expensive to ship...

So can I eliminate the use of the charcoal canister (don't have it) and use the 3 nipple filter and connect it to the vapor return line without any issues?

Hemi Swapping a perfectly good 70 Duster

I don't have a prop valve since I run 4 wheel discs. But the lines do pass near the location of the stock valve. The car already had port EFI with a MS3X controller. It has an in tank pump in the Tanks Inc tank. I autocross regularly with varying levels of fuel and never once had a fuel...

Hose from Tank to Line 72

...closed in at least 2 places: 2.) There is no vapor return port in the sending unit. You're thinking of aftermarket senders with a fuel return line. The factory put the vapor return port (on cars equipped with EEC) on the upper tank: Cars without EEC have the vent in the filler neck. It...

    Fuel Cell

For those of you that still have the stock truck pan with the spare tire well, but are using a fuel cell can you post some pictures of them. I'm wanting to change my dead head fuel system to a bypass system. I'm thinking of getting rid of my stock tank and going with a cell, but don't want to...

    Electric fuel system

Update. I installed the correct pushrod for the fuel pump. It is able to maintain 6 PSI at the carb even with the electric pump in line and turned off. The real test will be this summer. If it goes well this summer I'll remove the electric pump entirely. I think I may also run a return line...

it will work but you'll need to add a regulator with a return or run a pump that has an internal regulator. it's slightly more nuanced than that, but there's the basics. i run a tanks inc tank with their pump and their fuel line/regulator for carb applications and it works *perfectly*. the...

    Fuel line Mod Questions- Confused

Thanks for the tip. I was unaware of this vapor return line and will check for it. Upon looking at factory manual it looks like the line routes to the charcoal canister. Easy as unplugging and routing a new fuel line there. Are you guys installing a one way check valve also along the return line?

    return line location

I guess you could, but I would use the vapor return line for a solid fuel return if it was mine. It connects straight to the fuel sending unit, right?

    Routing fuel lines correctly

You say you cannot find 3rd line filters. You need to find a parts man who can read catalogs. I've always used wix, but once you find their number, you can interchange that to other brands as well. They are made with inline fittings, as well as the return line off at a 90. I thing...

    Gets hot and stalls out

It's a shame we have to resort to a return system but also a good thing. There's some cost involved, but the benefits far outweigh that small cost and any trouble it takes to install it. I've preached the benefits of a good return system on here for years and it either falls on deaf ears, I get...

yes it is connected to the sending unit, 1/4 in tube directly below fuel feed tube.

1967 Plymouth Barracuda - Fuel tank not vented properly??????

Would be an easy fix. When the tank is near empty, and with the filler cap/door open a while, you just have to "tap" a small fitting into the top of the filler tube to accommodate a short rubber hose connector and a small fuel-type line that you run to where you want the gas to vent to.

    Vapor lock- additive?

Get a bunch of clothes pins and clamp them on all of the available hard line under the hood. If the problem goes away, you have vapor lock. It's cheesy but it's a good diagnostic tool.

    Return line fuel restriction?

I've been doing some reading and cannot seem to find a straight answer..if there is one. On the return is where my question lies I have...

How to Prevent Holley Carburetor Fuel Boiling

How much coolant temperature? Is the exhaust crossover on the intake open? Mechanical fuel pump? The only part I’ve ever seen drop actual carb temp is called “Cool Carb” and it’s two pieces. I’ve tried every thing you can think of and not one of them ever dropped carb temperature. To run a...

    Vapor lock- additive?

Modern (if that’s what it really is because we are stuck with it) pump fuel has a fairly slow burn rate and it vaporizes very poorly. Pour a cup of pump gas on the floor and watch it. Then do the same with a race fuel and watch the difference. If you really want to check things out, do the...

    Vapor port on fuel tank

My '73 Duster fuel tank has a hose fitting on the top, presumably for the vapor capture setup that was originally on the car. That fitting is connected to a vapor separator inside the tank? As such, the fitting could NOT be used as a return line? Not for EFI, but for a fuel return to help...

Here is a picture of a 4150 bowl. The float is removed to make the needle and seat easier to see. The black line across the bowl represents the fuel level. Fuel pump

Is the returnless one internally regulated at 58psi? I used a fitech in my other swap that was a single line out, ran into a corvette style filter on the frame rail and ran a return back to the tank. Easy stuff. If the Holley is regulated, that a no brainer. I went with a Holley in tank pump on...

Well theres no sock anymore, and the return line end is full of filtwr material. This explains why a brand new fuel filter got clogged although im not quite convinced it is my fuel pressure issue. Im now on the hunt for a replacement screen.
