    I needed a replacement for my 68 dart convertable (barracuda is the same) The replacement screws into the quarter trim. You have to take off the interior quarter trim to install it.

    Thanks for shedding some lite on the possibly that there are actually two versions. In 68. I found laysons has the hood letters available for 67 A bodies so I'll go with that. Perhaps someone will know the history on the two variations, was it a production year change or something else ?

    In the carb installation book they say Use 8134 chrome fuel line. (I did) It says it has a 6 an thread on it. I contacted edlebrock and they say they have a 6 an to 3/8 adapter but they don't have a 5/16 connection.

    Timing Chain Cover crankshaft opening is the wrong size

    Thanks for the info as it's a 318 block and it's been running smoothly the timing chain cover is all I need to worry about along with a cast wasterpump. The timing gears and chain were replaced when it was rebuilt ( No plastic gears)
