I have a neutral balanced continental converter for a 904. Flashed 3600 in a high 11sec 340 duster. Not terribly far from LA, think you may have bought parts from me previously.

I’ll never disagree with you on the looks factor. Always wanted a roots blown car. This makes it slightly more feasible.

To my knowledge the spline count and input shafts are different between 904s and 727s, no it won’t work in a 727.

I have a factory 971 oil pan, windage tray and pickup. Sump is dented and the windage tray is tweaked but it’s all there and usable. Tried my best to keep it all flat when removing from my spare motor but someone used gorilla glue or concrete to install the pan. Asking $150 obo picked up in 92860.

I try not to leave ANYTHING alone but I was even second guessing it being lowered on the trip home. It rides nice, it’s quiet and just pleasant to be in.

I give it another week before I convince you to fix the oil leak/shifter bushings and you’ll keep the slant.

You’re really giving Mike far too much credit. I gave it 2 weeks before the slant was out. That’s accounting for his other projects and removing LED lights/sweet billet window cranks.

I will say this is the first vehicle where in my 33 years of life I insisted the slant stays. It’s quiet and just slowly cruises along nicely. If it were my truck I’d 100% be voting to pull it out though.

Knowing your fleet of vehicles, you NEED to keep the slant in it and just cruise it for a good while. Such a good truck, thanks for bringing me along for the trip. Oh and now those clear lenses it had are growing on me.

I knew it was getting tired and it was basically self inflicted at this point so I can’t be upset by it. Definitely going to be peace of mind having better parts in it.

Not that I’m aware of. Never had a conversation with him before to my knowledge. Maybe he’s having a bad day or having fun, either one doesn’t bother me much.

I’m not cheap sir, just thrifty. Never been afraid to pay asking price for things I need, but also know it never hurts to make an offer below asking. I’ll keep an eye open for any ads you have :thumbsup:

The “new” 440 is the blue grease ball in the corner of the garage for the dart. It bolted up with no issues at all, actually it bolted together way smoother than the factory Muncie bracket came off.

Took the picture and forgot to post it. Been working like hell and finally got the “new” 440 on the stand and tore down.
