I blushingly don't know the difference, but this is a pic from the car before we started the project for reference. To your point, it doesn't sound like the type/year matter because an OEM tachometer would fit either way?

So my project car came with this blank. Anyone have experience and suggested source for a Tachometer, along with how accurate they really are? Same would go for the Clock, as I don' think the Performance Indicator is something of any functional value.

Now I think I know what the interior shop is saying ... I ordered aftermarket interior side panels and I'm betting the metal plate underneath that is riveted-in is not there on it (ugh). I noted the metal tabs breaking in another posting you did. Well, just another problem to solve yet again.

Thanks for that word of warning ... I just bought a pair and am having them wrapped and sticked with highlight thread. Will be installing them in a few weeks, but the rear quarter panels will be off, so perhaps I can baby them in from behind with more success (fingers crossed)
