Okay. I'm going with crank key pointing straight up and the #1 cylinder at TDC and leaving the marks lined up like in the second picture. On to degreeing the camshaft. Thanks again for the help....and stand by. I'm sure I'll be back!

Only the 489 uses a crush sleeve.

I think the connectors on the classic harness may be for a newer model year; 1970? And they said they were made in China.

Oh, it will get up and go, but not going to build a track or drag car. Maybe a super six, milled head, little cam, bigger valves, etc.

I'm glad you are getting some relief. I find inconsistency in the gummies. I'm not a big user of any of it mostly because of the inconsistency. I'm actually talking about the caramels.

We all were at one point and still am. $$ is hard to come by, so asking a lot of questions here can save headaches and $$. Plus we like to spend other people's money :lol: .

Any guesses? 400 based 512, 440 source kit with lightweight crank, 14to1 with indy 440-1 heads howards solid roller 283-285@ .050 .675 lift indy intake with 1050 methanal carb. Its the 230 coldweather block that is half filled with a stud girdle and billet main caps.

Do those other places have the specific harnesses with all the correct Dodge connectors. That is what attracted me to Classic. Of course, look how that worked out.
