    Surprising how strongly guys feel about alternators. Especially about oem style units. I'd never bother with one of those things unless it was a show car resto deal.

    Never had an issue but no reason you could not put a loop in the line for movement. NHRA requires a solid or braided steel line = NO Plastic stuff.

    Very easily available and a off the shelf item. Same for rings. (4.25 Bore is very common as well Ai is 030/040/060/070 on this bore size. Many guys just eventually bore them to 440 Standard (070) if they Sonic well and Greg would not have kept them for years if they did not sonic very well.
