Not much today Alex. Hoping it warms up a bit so I can do some sandblasting outside.

OzyDuster74 full rebuild and hemi conversion!!

Have pretty much purchased every part needed for when i resemble the car. New interior screws, clips and rubbers etc. However i have not purchased the front and rear window rubbers. I didn't save the original as were cooked from the sun. Obviously many sellers of the rubbers however are there...

I agree! We need some Vitamin D! We will definitely get sidetracked along the way, but we will eventually get to your place. Hoppy has packed his thong!

    67/68/69 cuda dilemma

Great to see your post Moparmatt!! One suggestion for you as I went through this same process. We detached the outer trunk lid skin from the inner frame , reconstructed the rusty part of the inner frame, made a new lip for the outer skin and reattached much like you did. The issue I ran into...

Yeah, it is definitely too far when flipped.. Have you tried just sitting on a bucket or something and trying it? I would think you want it relatively close unless you are going full go-cart and learning to left foot brake haha. Is there any slop if you loosen the mounts? it kind of looks like...

I did a jury duty at the Federal Court House in LA. It paid well  Being just a few blocks from my favorite deli Phillipe's didn't hurt my feelings either. Weird thing, our crew at the rock farm was about 10 bodies. In about 1 year's time, 5 of us had Fed jury duty. Our home addresses...

Non-Mopar car you wish you had purchased?

I had a chance at an 69 L88 427 4 speed Corvette in the early 70's. The owner somehow managed to strip the spark plug threads, one on the drivers side and two on the passengers side. I wasn't much into Chevrolet back then and I passed on it, my youngest brother finally put the money together and...

Yeah ratty Dart with a totally bad *** drive trane in it. That 8 spd auto is gonna be the bees knees cats meow once you get it back together. Quick around town and cruise highway low RPM. Can have cake and eat it too no compromises.

Just do like Peter in the movie "Office Space," and do nothing at all! But if you're anything like me, you'd last about an hour before taking on 3 new hobbies. P.S. Congratulations!!

    Acceptable carbs for the street

FYI - For 1 season , I ran a pair of 800 cfm AVS2's on a 440 (before my stroker build). They ran great on the street, and I got the 3500lb car to run 11.1's at the track. (with the air door secondaries, I wouldn't worry about them being rated at 800 cfm being too big) I only switched over to...

Finally get to pretend I am one of the cool kids - Holley kit swap

I had to pull padding off the back of carpet and it barely fit between floor heat duct and raised tunnel. Had to wressle it into place. I rebuilt my factory heat AC box, Sanden compressor, parallel flow condenser, and got 48 degree air in 95 degree plus weather. Could feel tips of ears...

Non-Mopar car you wish you had purchased?

Thank you. My current wife's mother passed away from Parkinson's right before we were married, so I had some familiarity with it. But now I'm reading-up on anything and everything I can get my hands on regarding it.... Thankfully my sister works at the Mayo Clinic, and she "knows people who...
