67 Barracuda, for what it's worth. Coopers all around. Rear steel/dog dish with 255/60-15. Front steel/dog dish are 15x6, backspace 3.75, offset +6 mm with 215/65-15. The fronts replaced 14x6 Cragars, 4.125 backspace with 215/70/R14. Essentially, the same size front tire: Tire Size Calculator

The 15X7 has the 4.0 in. BS; 15X6 3.3 BS. What point is critical that your trying to clear?

Those wheels should fit fine. I have 15x8 on the rear and 15x6 on the front of my 72 Duster.

fender lip-- upper and front corner. you don't need to worry about anything suspension wise till you're at about 4.75 BS with 15 or 16's, then you're into the arms/ball joints and tie rods. at 17" you're able to clear those.

As far as I remember all 15x7'' Mopar steel wheels were 4.25'' Not sure of the C body 15x6'' wheels. They could be 4''. May not be wide enough for your application.
